AmboTech Edgecam Fundamentals Training Enrollment Form

Training Session Date:  December 7th to December 10th, 2015

Our next classroom training for Edgecam Fundamentals will be December 7th to 10th, 2015 covering the basics of Edgecam milling and turning for new users over (4) days.  

Cost is based on per student basisLimited positions are available for this course.

All Students will be taught on the following and much more:

Day 1: Edgecam Graphic user interface and how to customize it and save defaults (toolbars, windows, profiles, saving and selecting program defaults, setting machine units of work, Milling Environment (XY plane),selecting Model Materials, setting background colors, mapping toolstore and support folders).

Open, align for milling (translate and interrogate solids in Edgecam) , inserting and aligning other geometry and models for stock and fixture purposes.

Day 2 - Recap previous day's class.

Create Stock (Automatic and Manual), Creating Cpl's (Coordinate Planes), and Feature Finding (Automatic and Manual Features).

Manufacturing (applying toolpath's with cycles and operations and what is the difference between the two), training on the toolstore (creating new tools, copying tools and saving as new tools etc), using the simulator for full machine simulation and how to configure the simulator options (full screen, light sources, frame rates, open gl settings), using edgecam's tool simulation for Toolpath verification, posting NC Code for the machine tools using the default Edgecam NC editor.

Day 3 - Recap Previous day's class. (5 steps to manufacturing)

Setting up the work environment for Turning (ZX Plane), selecting new defaults, loading, aligning for turning, cpl creation, feature finding, moving into manufacturing, tool creation, selecting operations or machining cycles for turning.

Day 4 - Recap Previous days' classes.

Helping our students work on the clients parts to ensure that they are able to program their parts before they leave.
